Life Support

by Samantha - Scorpio

All feel as though they know me
Yet their assumptions are based on lies
On bare appearance
Of first glance;
On the outside
All is calm
Yet the calm is pure disillusionment
Of someone who is seeking
Everything but herself;
The white knight who had fought to keep her
Threw u^p^ his gaurds and walked away
Fearing all that she spoke
Because what she spoke
Was nothing
( )
But
Truth;

[Everyone fears reality]

{She held it within her grasp
Fearing nothing
But the dreams}

The dozens who treaded her path
Behind her
Burying her past steps within
Chains of followers
Were those who admired something in her
That they never fully understood
But felt as though they did;
Everytime they (closed} in
Stood as though swallowing her whole
She grew weaker
She tore just a little more

A-pa-rt

Until all that was left
Was her own flesh
Bone
Blood
Sweat
Tears
Created by a b r o k e n heart </3
