at the crossroads

by Twan - Aries

i stood here with you
going different ways
5000 miles and 7 long days
at the crossroads
i took my head out of my hands
and looked toward the sands
i was broke and spittin, left transmittin
just another dying love

and the sands of this desert become agitated
they raise up in a tidal wave
and then crash down
i crossed into the land of milk and honey
and this made me realize
aint nothing all that funny

and i saw him at the crossroads
the light changed
i felt my mind snap
and myself become deranged.
