Fragment of Immortality

Just that one split second
The world is silent
The night has a warm wind
And your breath touches my lips 
That split second before we kiss
My heart stops for that fragment of time
And it seems to last forever
Twisted in forgotten memories
The breeze sends shivers down my spine
And for just one second I want to be immortal
To never let this feeling escape.
And in our memories it will be eternal
