Scrubbin' Boards and Lye Soap

by Elisa Hinson - Aquarius

My daddy owns
A ranch
And I can
Ride a horse
As well as
A man
And I was
Raised
In trailers
Arranged
In a perfect
Horseshoe
And yes
I do prefer
Jeans over
Skirts
And boots
Over heels
And you can
Always
Find me
At the closest
Honky Tonk
Swiggin'
On a Bud
I can do
A perfect
Two step
And I never
Sit out
On the
Cotton eyed
Joe
My first
Daughter was
Conceived
In the
Back of a
Pick up
And if you
Insult my
Honor
My brothers
Will get
A bit rough
I spend
Most nights
Up at The
Neon Moon
Saloon
But on Sunday
You'll find
Me
Front row
Center
At church
And I know I
May be
Little
More than a
Stereotype
But if your
Gonna
Typecast
At least
Get it right
