Why do we judge people,
by what we see?
Why can't we look,
at there inner beauty?
If someone looks different,
we laugh and make jokes.
It hurts the one you're teasing,
at there heart it pokes.
Put yourself in there shoes,
and try to understand how they feel.
Think of how sad it would make you,
and how hard it would be to deal.
Think of how hard it would be,
to deal with people teasing you everyday.
Hurting your feelings and heart,
by the terrible things they say.
Who cares if there hair is different,
or there clothes are out of stile.
Why can't we just be nice,
and say hi with a smile?
How would you like it,
if people teased you?
Called you names you didn't like,
wouldn't it make you feel blue?
Just because people might not look,
the way you think they should.
You should say something nice,
and try to do something good.
Don't judge a book by it's cover,
don't make fun of things you don't understand.
Instead get to know the real person inside,
and try to lend a helping hand.
