fateful path

by dilpreeta - Taurus

A breeze that sifted me by
The gush so pleasant
Yet I was hot, glowing red in despair
Passion needs a vent
Wording it not holding back
All of it, or little by little
The want of more
The want of you
Gathering it is human behavior
Greed, fantasies, desires know no bounds
But this is not the same
It is no malice, no jealousy absence of slyness
Just the sinful halves of us
It is conspiring, it is concealing
It is convicting, it is receding
They are not thoughts, no misdeeds
They are feelings
All of which have no meaning
They are about you
You are not mine
Not comparing, just voicing
The dream that has been nourished, wide-eyed.
The leap that saw the fall
Oblivious yet to the root of hurt
Did anyone know we should cross paths?
You cross mine and I cross yours
The difference, I try to make yours mine.
All I ask is to let me be there before the next teardrop falls
