Heaven's Dimes

by Dark Angel - Pisces

Hard days work, sweat pouring from our faces
For every drop swiped away, two more trade it places
Muscles growing tired, as our arms take on dirt lined traces
A hard working woman, one of Gods amazing graces.

Downing our last damper, we walk for more frames
While speaking of our daily life and what all it claims
Quietly talking of our rivals, not mentioning any names
Taking a deep breath, Cindy instantly exclaims.

"Julie did you see that? It was a slender flash of light
It flickered across my shoulder like a shooting star in flight
Its glowing cast was shimmering, stunning, and bright
Please tell me that you saw it, its cast was silvery white."

Not knowing the matter of what she spoke, Julie shook her head
As Cindy's mind marked the spectacle as a raindrop from overhead
Overlooking the floors, spying no spots of possible water spread
They placed the incident off to the side, and talked on as they tread.

Reaching their works destination, they reach for a metal frame
Lifting it together, keeping their daily routine the same
As Cindy's eyes fill with a spark of hopes eternal flame
She spies two silver dimes and marks the flash for fame.

Remembering her mothers passing, she gently lifts the dimes
Receiving the invitation as an old phrase begins to chime
" When a loved one passes, they're with you all the time
Leaving little hints of love to watch your spirit rise and climb."
