How have you changed? With the worst things thrown at you- Up and down, drowning, looking for those- Words that can be that lifesaver- It’s nothing personal- With the world spinning you- Dizzy- You’re the message in the bottle- The floating litter- Complaining the world left you behind- Or the ebb and flow in you’re passion waning- From the lover’s betrayal- Those good byes to goodbyes- From the needles and knives- In the baggage still in the heart- Of friends- It’s the guilt that rests itself on your back- On any given day- It’s the suits and ties that sell you refurbished commerciality- With the boogie man still sitting in your closet, under your bed, in your head- Strangling you- And selling you you’re comfort- It’s the perfect despotism- You dam if you do, you dam if you don’t- How will you make the change? Who will it hurt?- What good will it do?- What will you leave behind?
