The good boy scout walks the old lady across the street The man picks up the buggy helping the single mother get her baby up the stairs Nice that he cares The Manager also cares sits his customers down No frowns just smiles The two friends natter have a jolly good chatter and laugh as friends do The couple take their dog out They don't like being in all day. The good boy scout bully's younger kids at school he likes to beat The baby was the man's son Until he got drunk and hit the mother with a hammer he's been in the slammer The Manager treats his workforce and customers as unequals Mistreating workers The two friends laugh behind their other friends' back who is now looking over a bridge Saying she's not coming back The couple go shopping on a hot summer's day The dog's left to boil, rot and decay.
