Something is Wrong

by Elora Danning - Taurus

Something is wrong,
I can feel it,
anxiety lines my stomach,
hands are shaking,
heartbeat - rapid,
breathing loud and fast,
I'm spiraling out of control.

Always had a sixth sense,
identify the phone caller,
before answering,
knew when not to be someplace,
dread feelings would start to stir,
I'd change plans, direction,
whatever until all I felt
was calm,
I wasn't in the building,
that caught on fire,
or on the plane,
that crashed,
proof enough?

Back to now,
whatever it is,
going to be very bad,
jump everytime I hear a sound,
children playing outside,
run and tell them to come in,
could be one of them about to be
hit and the driver will run.

No, not that, feeling still here,
going crazy trying to know,
sit very still and focus,
no flashes, visions,
nothing at all,
what is it?

Phone rings,,
it's momma,
hesitate to pick up,
I know what's wrong,
tears streaming down my face,
he's gone, he's gone, he's gone.
