Have you ever thought about the power you hold inside Buried deep within you, often brought out in rage Waiting to be released A fury unleashed What can you do, you never meant so much pain You let it all out, all in one go, at this one thing Its not the cause or even to blame But its there and you can’t take it no more You will not be silenced any longer You will not keep the peace You will not keep going, being nice to them all You will be heard the time is now You know you shouldn’t which is why it is so strong You have kept within so that you would not do wrong But it all mounts up inside you and you lose all control You lash out at everything, all the peace, all the soul You notice all the silly things You notice all the pain You tell people what your thinking Regardless of the blame People’s lives seem so meaningless When they waste it all with hate You have to point out their wrong You have to uncover their disguise You need the freedom, the love The peace and the soul You need to know you’re not meaningless You need to know you’re not alone You need the connections You need the release You need all the freedom You need all the peace And what can bring this to you What get you through it all The music it guides you Lets you release from your soul Your friends they support you They listen and understand you And when you get to the end They don’t lay down the blame
