Reality Meets Fantasy

by Elora Danning - Taurus

Someone sent an email,
saying you would be near again,
my heart started racing,
at the thought of finally meeting you,
flesh to flesh, soul to soul,
terrifying.

I write about you every night,
my darling main character,
who would ever figure it out,
your true identity,
now my chance to see you up close,
reality meets fantasy,
truly terrifying.

Don't think I'll go,
the temptation to run my fingers,
through your dark curly locks,
is overwhelming,
to lightly press my lips to yours,
sheer heaven,
to be thrown out of a restuarant
and accused of attacking you,
very terrifying.

Fear rules my heart,
for if I were to gaze into your
dark smoldering eyes,
and all I would see is the patience
that the famous reserve for their fans,
no instant love nor desire at all,
no souls mating and an aura of peace surrounding us,
if all I received was,
just the required smile, warm handshake, photograph,
then my will to live would ebb,
soul would curl up,
my heart would cease to beat,

It is not time for us to meet, my darlin,
not yet, but soon,
very soon.
