Landfall

by Terrence Roe - Virgo

My Ship Sets Sail for Distant Shores
An Unfamiliar Realm
The Shore I Seek is Yours Alone
And I am at the Helm
I check my charts and plot my course
And Guide Upon Your Star
To avoid the shoals and dire straits
And Chase the Wind to where You are
I check the skies for birds on wing
To lead me to Your Shore
I hope, I pray I find You
I`d ask for nothing more
My sails so torn and tattered
Have weathered out the storm
The Hurricane We Played In
On Your Beach...So Wet And Warm
For This Ocean that You`ve Always Owned
Is also part of Me
Without You in MY Life, My Love
I`ll surely cease to be
A Broken Hearted Sailor
Lost Upon a Raging Sea
