Feelings

Beyond the rude remarks,
Beneath the skin the feelings throb,
Inside you are crying,
Down in the dumps because someone made you hurt,
In the counselors office,
In the darkness your are telling her what you feel,
Out the door to face the world in just a hearbeat.
