In a dank and verdant jungle Brave men passed spirits on In a war they weren`t allowed to win And blood ran ten years long Some were young and single Some were older...some had wives Fiftyeight thousand proud brave men Fought hard...and sadly lost their lives In our memories are their faces And their names etched on The Long Black Wall Volunteers and Draftees all heeded duties call If men must go to war and die Then let the fight be just Cloak them in the Nations Blessing Ensure them with the Nations Trust God let them be Victorious Never Vanquished...Never Lost In a dank and verdant jungle That wrought such tragic cost......
