He never asked her again
Because he knew what she would say
It only bothered him
That he kept being so persistent
From day to day
He loved her 
That’s why he stayed around
He couldn’t imagine a life without her 
She hated him 
Deep down 
She wanted him to suffer
To cry
To beg for her forgiveness
He should have to suffer
After what he did
Things were different
Than before
She was different
She missed holding him
And having him touch her
But the near sight of him
Made her think of her
The other woman he slept with
He apologized
Over and over again
But sorry wasn’t enough
It didn’t make things any easier
She couldn’t bare his touch
She didn’t want to leave
She loved him always had
Since the day they met
She still did
Only if she could just forget
