Cowboys&Indians

by Twan - Aries

As children we played games we'd never play as men and women...

we played cops and robbers
under the blazing sun
and thought how cool it would be
if we each had real guns

we played cowboys and indians
never realizing how offensive that game is
we never read the history books
so we didn't know who would do this
we played the whipping daddy game
never realizing that nita
would bring to my attention one day
thats an advertisement to become a wife-beater

we played a game i found silly
spin the bottle?? we never did
we did make it worse for all
from curtis all the way to sid

We played a game thats never stopped
played by kids far and near
now i find it offensive
what's it called?? Smear The Queer

somewhere down the line i thought that life went to hell
and i'd rather be a kid again
but instead i'd rather be the way i am
till then

and many games are played
there is reason to believe
that teasing and fucking with children
the impression that it leaves
and many parents say that kids are too sensitive
and they would believe its true
till the game you played with them culminates
in them killing one of you.
