Two sides to every story

She smiled
Cause she knew
Why
When she asked him
He tried to bargain
His way out of the truth
So she listened
And pretend to believe
He kept his smile straight
And his eyes closed
She studied his face
The little lines that twitched
Every time his mouth would speak
He held her hand
And told her every thing just as he planned
She took it well
Too well in fact
She just smiled
And listen to what he had to say
