Every time I post a poem, my heart lurches with fear, I have hidden my identity from you, for so long, nightmare goes like this, one day, while you are surfing the web, looking at different poems, will run across one that seems familiar, recognize yourself in it, take a hard look at the writer's pen name, put two and two together, innocently ask in an email, if that was me, no, no, no, that would be too kind, you'd be so mad the email would, demand a phone number, I would of course send it, heart would be beating 8 times faster, when the call came in, shuddering at the thought of your wrath, brave thing to do is to tell you now, coward in me will never do it, just continue to play the waiting game, maybe on a night out, with the stars shining, soft soul music playing in the background, I'll lean forward to kiss you gently, whisper the truth in your ear, show you some of my work, watch your eyes darken with anger, get up and walk out the door, truly horrifying, terrifying, really, really, scary.Birth sign: Taurus
