You insist my eyes
are the brightest blue...
They're not you know
they're green.
Sometimes you look
at me so blankly
i wonder who it is
that you are seeing.
I'm getting tired of
climbing your fences
and painstakingly tearing
them to the ground
and her ghost that
haunts your every tought
Is slowly
wearing me down.
She taunts
your waking moments
comes to you
when you sleep
your so stuck
in the past
you can't hear me
as I weep
you keep pushing
me away
afraid to let me
inside your heart
I'm not her
It's not my fault
Your defective memory
tears us apart......
