It’s never forgiving- Never apologetic- With white knuckles, and a pale face- It’s in your mind- Utopia and ever lasting love- Home to all those fairy tales- And peaceful intentions- Am I, sugar coated- Trying to get up there- Perhaps- But I’m not going to just die, rollover, or play stupid- Anyway, I think he’s decided my fate- Whichever way I go- Yes, peace- Are the hopes of everybody else’s hopes- Sugar coated, I beg to differ- Pocket flipbook, taking notes- I hear the roar in each corner of the world- Sit back and relax- Well, enough people do that each day- I’m kept awake- Nightmares of blood flowing from the streams- As the mountains crack- It’s not my choice- I can’t compromise- When I see red- Sit back and relax- It’s the best country in the world- Opportunity, life, liberty, happiness- The rest is all peripheral- I beg to differ- Who said it couldn’t get better? – Naysaying is too easy- Believing, well that’s always- A bit harder- Realistic, well that’s good- But most of the time- It’s a naysayer’s excuse- Giving up, well- You’re going to do that eventually- Why now?-Birth sign: Libra
