when your sun runs out
come to daddy and cry tears that no one can see.
it will be touching, to hear disembodied sobs
begging for hope, begging for truth.
and to know that none is as solid as that of death.
all things on a path...
passing each other with bitter snarls and weakened ideas.
when your sun runs out
come to daddy and cry tears that no one can see.
shall i deceive you, and rob you of this
bludgeoning inevitibilty? ticking tocking ticking tocking ticking tocking ticking tocking passing until
what i already know cements itself.
dreams are powdered and liquid in the air, falling
faster and faster every day. wake them up and bring them home, inhale the beast and all it's promises, hold the present hostage until it gives you the future that you dare.
there is no blessing for you, so make yourself
a god.
