Water-Sensing

by Omer - Pisces

Dark boats silhouetted
sail along

One bold winter moon
shines

Always bent in pure reflex
those hands

Move with the pacing breeze
twisting

Between ropes,yardarm and cloth
deep woes gather

In simple contours,
babes and serpents,both...

Reason for writing:

Last winter I went sailing with friends at night. There was aperfect moon.Absolute stillness and the slightest of breezes to move us along.Almost perfect, heavenly, but there was a sense of something unsaid or undone,of a quiet lull before the storm,a great emptiness demanding answers...
