Be Like That

by Twan - Aries

Everything only exists for your eyes to see
Give fuel to those who want more to be
Your religion stifles, your return to old times
Stabs me in the eye with a fork with old tines
Here we are in a time and a space
where women no longer "know their place"
A time where I can finally marry
but I won't vote for a politco who tries to parry
You can run but you can't hide, you can but you can't say
You can't make your own way

You cannot do this
you cannot go flat
you cannotr impose your own morals
And be like that
I can't understand
your reasoning for your alliteration
All your bible-thumping crap
is just discrimination
There's nothing in the bible
Just in your head
and you being an excuse
means you're brain dead
So it begins to be seen
what it is you would do
forsaking your kids for being gay?
They aren't disgusting, just you.
