Empty

by Charles Mathew Tyner III - Scorpio

What do you do when you feel you're not there? When you feel like your essense just floats along with the air? What do you do when you feel out of place? Walk around while cloaking your face? Do you continue to stay and feel what you feel? Or do you go some place where you can feel real? Do you find someone who will embrace you? Or just tarry along as lost spirits do? Do you find that thing to bring life back once again? Or do you continue to be as you are until the end? Do you remain invisible and unknown to the world? Do you seek to be acknowledged by man, woman, boy and girl? These questions have haunted me all of my years. Nobody can see me cry and feel my tears. I'm nothing more than an essense in void. I'm less than a child's old, broken toy. I'm invisible so the world can not see that within this vessel, I feel so damn empty.

Reason for writing:

Love, life and happiness have eluded me most of my life. There seems to be a void that won't be fulfilled within myself. I hope I find the one that can fill that void in my soul.
