Butterflies

by Sweetp - Sagittarius

Butterflies restless inside,
Tingles where your fingers lie,
Broken pieces of my heart hide,
Behind the confused tears I cry.

Beautiful blue deep confusion,
Distant, close yet so far away.
I search deep within, but intrusion,
In the depths, where pieces of your heart might lay.

Questions of love linger in my ears,
A heart of unceasing doubt.
Built on never ending fear,
Of loving and being left without.

Escaping, from the inner soul,
Rejecting, refusing, to be loved, or love.
The heart is confused with the unknown,
That even can't be explained by the angels above.

Whispers softly upon my sensitive ear,
Play a silent love song to my heart,
Unspoken words covered by silent tears,
Of the fear of falling apart.
