A Wasted Life

by MOTHERBEAR - Scorpio

Loving, Living
raising children
building a life
sitting at home waiting for you
that's my wasted life

Laughing, Giving
chasing rainbows
making a living
sitting at home waiting for you
that's my wasted life

Dreaming, Screaming
looking back
being lonely
sitting at home waiting for you
that's my wasted life

Crying, Dying
Hurting inside
crazy and old
sitting at home waiting for you
that's my wasted life

Twisted, Numb
longing for life
looking inside
no more waiting for you
I'm through wasting my life

Reason for writing:

My husband of 21 years left us. Through years of pain and tears I am trying to start a new life for me and my daughter. I hope I am successful. I feel as though I have wasted these years by staying with him. Investing in a love that never was. My children are the only real love I have known for all these years. They are my rock...
