Subconscious Mistake

My eyes slowly close,
I drift off to sleep,
But no one knows, 
What makes me weep.

In my dreams,
You do appear. 
Wonderful peace it seems,
But slowly falls the tears.

For only in my dreams,
Do I feel the love you show,
To the subconscious it seems,
The mind should automatically know.

Dreams are never for real,
The end comes when awake.
For the awesome love you feel.
Was all a subconscious mistake.

So what's the remedy to this?
Sleep as much as you possibly can.
In your dreams savor that passionate kiss.
And make the awake mind understand.

Once in love there's no end.
For the heart may break.
But sleep always helps mend,
And correct the subconscious mistake.
