Blinding Darkness

by Charles Mathew Tyner III - Scorpio

So much darkness...
Cruel, unrelenting, deep darkness...
There is no life, only the lingering smell of death...
Can you feel it though you can't see it?...
Can you hear it?...
It's all around you...
Or do you blind yourself?...
Do you remove the eyes of your soul to blind yourself from the constant horror engulfing the world around you?...
You let your mind imagine that this place is not what you feel...
You feel cold, alone, afraid...
Maybe even a little powerless...
The truth is that sometimes you are...
Deal with it...
After this darkness subsides there is something better...
Just hold on and don't let the weight of the darkness comsume you...

Be strong...

Reason for writing:

This world is maniacal and utterly corrupted. The trick is to know that beyond this crazy, destructive world, there is a place where peace, serenity, tranquility and happiness reign. Continue to be strong and make it there. God bless you all...Amen.
