Her Beloved

by k wright - Aries

Though you shall not see
my life shine bright
nor hear tears shed
by pale moon-light
If I could touch
what I feel in time
the heavens would shift
you would be mine.

This will never be
so I cry through clouds above
connect by telling a tale
of an undying love.

There in hallowed darkness
he waited for her
as she rose from ashes
of frankincense and myrrh.
Aware of each-other
they did not make jest
entangled together
love was the quest.
They rode side by side
fluently free
until silence
broke harmony.
Into the jowls of evil
the brave knight leapt
and the maiden in her curtsy
bowed her head and wept.
The knight though brave
laid slain on the floor
their laughter together
you'll hear no more.
Now the maiden cries tears of pain
waiting to see her lover again.
One day they'll share wings to fly
true test of love
written
across the sky...

Reason for writing:

    It's all crap
