my sheets smell like coconut

by elisa hinson - Libra

"nobody ever read to me
when i was a kid..." he said.

and so it started.

"so maybe you could...or
 would you..."

sure, i said, let me
go get a book
thinking a little
Asimov might do
the trick

"and oh yeah, maybe
 you could wear that white
lace corset and garter get up
 while your at it..."

well, o.k. i thought,
his kohl lined eyes
so hard to resist
all lit up against
the night sky

bright and shining
and as new
as this moment

and so it ended...
up just like that.
me reading
him listening

and another chapter
suddenly begun
