In loving memory of my unborn child

by Sweetp - Sagittarius

I never got to see your face,
But I knew you were there,
Inside of me was your home place,
And what happened to you isn’t fair.

You grew without default to size you should have been,
But something went terribly wrong inside,
For the beating of your heart could not be seen,
And the hurt and my tears I could never hide.

Now in a better place you do rest,
Maybe in my loving father’s hands,
I can’t help but wonder if this was best,
The reason you were taken away I can’t understand.

I’ll never hold you in my arms,
Or be able to look in your precious face,
But somehow my body kept you from a life full of harm,
And sent you to your very own special place.

Reason for writing:

I recently had a miscarriage.. Was very painful for me..
