Mesmerized by your voice I sit,
Contemplating on the words you convey,
Your voice speaks directly to my spirit,
And takes me worlds away.

I listen attentively to your poetic intelligence,
While I picture in a daydream,
In your voice I can hear your wisdom and guidance,
An angel in poetry so it seems.

Sent to create a smile on my face,
To uplift my spirits,
To take me for only moments to a place,
Where lives only the wise poets.

My poet sent to read me into happiness,
To take away all unwanted doubts,
And to convey to me the wisdom his life does possess.
