When you said to me- in that voice that I have only ever heard in the melodies of my dreams- “Where would you take me, if we could be anywhere and everywhere?” I smiled at you through the pages of a well thumbed copy of The Great Gatsby, -as I thought how you were surely Gatsby himself come to life- “Why Darling, to the moon.” And you teased me your blue eyes laughing that I only ever want the impossible, that surrealism was stitched like Peter Pan’s shadow to my heel and was slowly contaminating my every thought…… And I laughed out loud as I took your handsome face between my hands kissing that pale cluster of freckles on your nose…. “I want to make moon dust angels and up there, I can have you all to myself…..”Birth sign: Scorpio
