Time Gone

by Calli Shawn Brannon/O'Brannon - Cancer

Where have the days gone?
The minutes of ectasy; The hours of understanding,
The days of patience, The weeks of joy,
The months of tears. So many years of "high"and goodbye.
Why has our life flown into the sky?
Beloved ,show sympathy while I cry. Love lasts long after we pass. Alas, I shall weep no more unless you profess
With Maudlin eloquence; I search for you in dreams...
Decades of the allure of a Love so pure
Your love broke my heart, a friend never to part.
A lover only in my mind. Holding hands was enough for me.
Beside you through eternity. A love that cannot be.
Like a wild stallion whose spirit was broken:
My soul, only a small token;
For a time gone by...

Reason for writing:

    True love never ends
