what is poetry.. if not cliche... does a rhyme scheme really work.... with these words i love to play.... some r just questions... rehotorical at best... others just venting.. most said in jest.... to define a poem... should be no readers goal... only the poet.... whos bearing their soul... cliche?? i suppose maybe... an illetist dream... i think its just shady... should i sound like the others.. inspiration almost plagerized... or should i be me... and tell it through my eyes... whos to say... i know its not me, nor you... why do so many know... just what to do? can i make it complex... deciphered by me... or should i make it easily recognized... and let everyone see.... back and forth i go... hypocritical again... if they do figure it out... should i just let them in... a glimps of whats inside... is that what i should offer... all i know is these r mine... just another author.
Reason for writing:
pretty self explanatory....this is just my opinion but ive seen soooo many people try to sound like "poetical" based on what they read in poetry books.....is there a huge difference between poetry and journal entries? whats cliche? if it comes from the heart then who can judge that..and who knows what poetry really is...not me :) cipher
