I loved her
but they said it was wrong
because we were both girls
her face was beautiful
her hair smelled like roses
i remember when i use to hold her close
when we spent time together
doing homework
she kissed me once
it was the first time i ever kissed a girl
it was soft and sensual
i didn't want her to stop
but she did
I loved the softness of her lips
it was all i could think about
she was graceful when she danced
so perfect
i knew we didn't have a chance
our family wouldn't understand
but she made me feel special
she made me feel loved
something a man never could do
no matter how hard he tried
I trusted her
confided in her
she was my rock
she was my soul
I like boys
but I only loved one person
and they told me it was wrong
because we were both girls
