They preach the good word, with all the self-hate I've never renounced my sexuality, to date And what kind of person are you, to tell me this? For me to be dead because I was, that's your wish? I believe in God, said, I, that he's real A bunch of idiotic men can tell you how he feels? And I opened your bible and looked for the curse And read each part of it, verse by damnable verse You wrote what you said the word of God is And my response to you is "mind your fuckin biz!" You claim piousness, and worse, that God Hates Fags but you beat the shit out of your wife and put your son in a bag What kind of man are you, to take a book that's not yours And use it to condemn everyone, even whores You're a piss-poor human, an excuse for a man On organized religion there should be a ban But you'll get AIDS, said my less-than-loving sister Haven't gotten it yet, replied the human blister So he looked around and stood up, and tasted the wind He pressed the button for exit, not send You say "he can say all this stuff behind the screen" But I marched in 3 parades, so what you really mean? Is that life isn't worth living, if you're flawed your ignorance is a disease, on my brain it's gnawed Your mind is a sieve, it leaks all but sap You crashed and burned, and told me no words And it spread its wings and flew away, the bird REPENT! screamed the person that stood next to them And I showed him manure, and compared it to him COME INTO THE LIGHT! shouted the man on TV And I glared at him with a rather savage glee And I spoke back to him, though he couldn't hear "God loves me, I have nothing to fear" What makes you think that I'll fall into line there are 70 different religions, I know at least 9 Your reasons for religion are mostly political And yet you live a lie...what's the word? Hypocritical Hypersexed, they scream, you can't love, they said And I'm sure they drew others into the lie they fed Make babies with women, procreate, said those I wasn't really caring, til they said "you chose" So I joined in the catcalls, and booed at the top They stood and they watched, the undercover cop They pulled me away before I went too far Like to thank you all, my friends, wherever you are I saw myself drawing down on the asses Like wiccan witches at pitch-black masses I regarded them all with contempt and spoke slowly "You couldn't hold your water with me, you don't know me" And we loved each other more then they did theirs You'd see us on the street...in pairs Hey, this is the world you want kids to see To make your kids try to hate me First crime is gay, second crime is black There's no way you'll ever slide off that track I'm damned if I do, triple damned if I sing There will be one thing that I will bring A piece de resistance, a word to the wise Never give up the effort, you can always try And it's criminally a shame, how you turn away your child You people make me sick, you make me raise bile Turn your back on love, to take solace in your book Of you and a cat burglar I don't know who's the bigger crook. And soundlessly I turn: I look around and I froze for it was well past time, to bring this to a close The one thing that people, don't get that they're damned for you still don't understand: Religion is a scam.
