You started out so wonderfully Doted on excessively The youngest girl of five So happy, young, alive! I heard it from your sisters And saw it in old pictures Got "cutest" in your senior year A cheer-leader with out a fear Went on to college...so much fun And a "doctor" you had won! The marriage came without a glitch Soon to be both happy and rich You had no clue at all! That your life would take a fall! For the "doctor" that you married Had a problem that he carried And soon it would all come out There'd be no shread of doubt That he was cursed by alcohol! And screams of, "damn it all!!" Would fill your daily life As a mother and a wife Four children you gave birth to While suffering this curse too Your pretty hair kept falling out And "doctor" lost his clout Then came the diagnosis Your brain tumor..ATROCIOUS!! I can't believe your rotten luck! Jeez life can really suck! And as for me, well I now see How hard it was for you to be The mother that I wanted All those years the anger haunted My perceptions of your motherhood I wish I then had understood But only until recently Have I had eyes to see For now you're gone And the only one I hate is me.Birth sign: Pisces
