Look Inside

by Charles Mathew Tyner III - Scorpio

What do you see when you look into my eyes? Do you see an emptiness where my soul should dwell? Can your eyes look deep within the regions of my mind? Is there a void where my essence should house itself? Take a good look. Look far into this vessel in front of you. What do you see in here? Is it becoming any clearer? Can you see the true being within this shell? You can't. I'm not surprised at all. Not too many people can. So, how can you care about me if you don't know who or what I truly am? How can you understand how I feel if you can't understand me? It's alright. At least I know that you're trying. That's good enough for me.

Reason for writing:

My way of saying thank you to those who wish to care about me even if they don't know me. Thank you.
