I don't feel alive...but I don't feel dead... I'm somewhere in between instead! Frankly, I would rather be One or the other. That is my plea! Each day seems dull and meaningless And little passion I can caress-- Wanting eagerly just to find A little of what I've left behind From years ago when I felt ALIVE!! Though things weren't GREAT I still had drive! Little, medication does But give a temporary buzz-- I just can't seem to keep my head From feeling like the living dead!
