Lefton's Manual Of Garnished Jewels Pt. 14

by jaydee - Taurus

numbers became a hormone
that traveled with the blood
until the stream
found his lungs and punched the code into
his labored breath.
the variables, all purposefully inaccurate,
were the kinethesistic
lucidity that kept alive every universe inside his
dream.
generalized awareness was a disease
of decimals, one that feared not the moat
of inadequacy evident in the faces of the digital
kids.
chemicals with lichen fingers programming the
beat into their feet.
his was the amplitude of chaos.
the chronic surrender of individual delinquency.
his was a genius born of
transported cultures.
his was a tongue flavored with endocrine sugar.
beneath
the
results
of the modified extremes are the livid worshippers
of right and wrong.
he remembered
jesus bleeding on that cross.
the loss of a great thinker and a great builder.
but no son of god fell
prey to man.
the only part of us close to him was the
part that our science had no way to kill.
the least of our violations was arrogance.
