Peace Can Never Be

by Charles Mathew Tyner III - Scorpio

What is to be done when peace ceases to be apparent? Who shall fight to bring peace back once more? Life without peace is a constant fight in which you must take an existance so that yours can live on. You give yourself presidence over all because instinctively you fight because you want peace. In actuality, you continue to fight for peace, but you shall never find it because with your continued fighting peace will alway elude you. We all fight in belief that we can find peace after our battles are won. With each battle fought, won or lost, peace continues to stray for fighting is the embodiment of everything peace is not. We have wars within ourselves all of the time. So if your essense can't obtain peace, no part of you ever will. Our hearts seek peace to define ourselves. With peace we can show others how to obtain it. But no one ever obtains the true peace that they seek do they? They are always fighting something within their essense to obtain it. You reach for the stars, but will never be able to grasp them. As you seek to touch stars in which you'll never hold, so will that be the peace you seek that your essense will never be able to attain.

Reason for writing:

To me, peace is a state of mind just as normality is. Even in Heaven where peace reigns, all of the hosts of Heaven seek something more. Whether it is to be stronger, wiser, or anything else, there is always a fight going on to be better. So true peace shall always be just out of our reach.
