The prayer Today I saw the bright light I heard the angle sing I had to answer the question Are you ready for the end? Have you made your peace? Have you asked for forgiveness? Did you kneel and pray Did you call his name? As the pain engulfed me As I cried in vain As I begged for comfort I cried out his name God please forgive me All these things I’ve done I wish to see your glory I pray that I can come I finely understand We all live and die I love you and I hope I can hold your hand As the pain subsides I feel well again I remember my prayer And can live my life again Now once again I pray You can guide my life So I can live in your glory All the days of my life
