You come back to me The calming affect of stillness flees me Your ghost is back To squeeze me so gentle Gently As we engage our separation for what we call the Goodbye of our lives They come out like wails, shakes, tears and out-of-control breathing patterns With moans that have a mind of their own It’s punishment to love you I am beat Severely Near death I am burned With the deepest of wounds To live with scars Questions with no Answers I was not prepared for this But I can already tell God has let you into heaven He opened those gates for you this morning Because you were beautiful with grace And loved by everyone you met You were the few that walked With eyes contacting you With adoring souls Already reaching into yours It’s true we don’t know whom we cherish Till their gone And I did not know heaven Was calling you As you hung up the phone Stepped into that passenger side And drifted down the highwayBirth sign: Aries
