Heavy with hopes and wishes like a penny in a well that's how deep in love I fell And on my way down I could'nt see you changing I was love blind and I could'nt tell That you did'nt love me the way I loved you You were not caught up in the spell I grew heavier than a rock and found the bottom faster my heart turned to stone No one is lonlier than one who loves alone Down here down here I am no longer sinking truly I have found the bottom this is no place for a heart to call home Longing longing I am thinking I weep I weep no one hears me cry I sit here hopelessly waitng for the well to go dry and for someone to come and collect all the wishes in the well And me with all my dreams the little penny in the wishing well Lexi Hilife
