Faraway just across the table A candle burns low it sheds no light Trapped in her thoughts the Grecian beauty Awaited from his striking profile parting lips Declare liberty from Love A prison she nor he can confess Chained to unhappiness Once professed passion that posessed no death Born now stubborn pride has abandonded adoration Where once pillars of promise held Herculean erect That which could not crumble to ruin Toppling in rubble Loves Volcanic fire Earthquake Can now you feel the empire shake Mighty it came History in it's wake Glory gone replaced by ache In the dust settling truth admits Once you were my everything with all my heart Now we part Assunder now lies vessels that once anchored In your port proud are sinking Those which couraged each wave Human cargo passengers of love, finery, and durables Consumed by Atlantis In the hands of fickle Gods Lovers turned slave far beneath the beautiful aqua Lost amongst a legendary watery grave Lexi Hilife
