You know they are hurting... You know they are sad... You can talk till the morning Bout things that've gone bad But when you hang up After all of the EFFORT You feel like you're EMPTY Did nothing to comfort! And so this goes on Between loved ones and friends The need always there... The NEED never ends! It could drive someone crazy... It could seem so...ridiculous! But, ultimately, it is What makes us "US"!!!!!!
Reason for writing:
My brother...Always seems in dire straights...things not going well etc....But no matter how much I console him, it never seems to help.
