The Journey

by Marlena - Cancer

The highway of life will take you down the roads
you dare not pass without caution begging you to turn back
the hands of time.
You take a chance and go down that path, searching for the
life that will make you whole.
Along the way you meet a hand full of people.
Some will guide you with advice to help you along your journey,
While others will deny you and pray for you to
fail.
Your faith is all that you have.
Do not let them break you down and stop you from
living your life and expiencing the challenges that have
have been set before you.
It is your destiny to make this journey down this road.
Prepare for it by your determination and strength.
Give knowledge the key to your heart.
Love life for what it can be by your own free will.
Open your eyes and read with your mind.
The passion inside can not withstand without the hope and drive you breathe.

Now you've stumbled along your journey, for you see a fork
up ahead.
Which way should you go to complete your journey.
Right or left?
You pause for a sign from the mighty one above,
but all there is for you is the wind blowing dust in your face.
Your heart is pounding fast and hard.
You're feeling so cold and confused.
A tear falls down your face.
You feel so broken and so alone.
Just as you decide to turn back and give up on your quest.
A cold breeze passes through the lungs you breathe and whispers something so sweet into your ears.
It's like a enchannting melody that sooths your soul as you close your eyes for a second or two.
The fork disappears and turns into one road ahead.
To your amazement you come to realize the true miricle of life, the power of GOD.
To always have faith and never give up because God is always there when no one else is here.
He bought you here to teach you.

Reason for writing:

For inspiring others to never give up on their hopes and dreams because anything is possible through hard work and determination.
