I have this problem... Abusing myself as if it just doesn't matter... They say, "medical people" are often the WORST when it comes to taking care of "themselves"... Oh, they're GREAT at tending to OTHERS...But their OWN health, well, that's another story!... I think I've come to the conclusion, at least with ME, that a great deal of this malady has to do with, "survivor's guilt"....I mean, you see sick, often pathetic people who are in so much pain and agony...every day...And "I" think, subconsciously, it becomes a guiltifying quandry...You feel GUILTY that you're not them!...Like a survivor of a terrible plane crash or something... Then again, maybe I'm just a weak-minded, undisciplined, self-absorbed failure! Just like my dear ole dad....Birth sign: Pisces
